Below a poster can be found the r u NbS team produced to announce to Community Based Organisations in Kibera the opportunity to partner with KDI to co-design and build NbS to tackle water management issues they might be facing in their neighbourhoods. It can be downloaded [here].
To explain NbS to residents in the Kenyan context the r u NbS team has developed its own narrative which makes use of existing strong urban-rural linkages. in Kenya.
Many urban dwellers keep tight links with the regions they or their parents originally migrated from to urban centres. In the rural set up urban dwellers tend to be more familiar with how nature works. Therefore, to explain NbS reference to the rural context has been made.
